Do I need an account?

No. You can browse the whole checklist, open any species and use the map without signing in. An account is only needed to save your sightings, dates and notes so they follow you between devices.

How do I record a sighting?

Open a species and tap "Mark as seen". The "Your Sighting" panel then appears, where you can set the date spotted and write a private note.

How do I add a species that is not on the list?

Scroll to the bottom of any category and tap "Add a species you've seen". You can attach a photo with "Add photo" and record where you were with "Tag my location". Both are optional.

Who can see my notes?

Only you. Your sightings, notes and any species you add are private to your account and are never shown to other users.

How do I delete my account?

Tap the round profile button at the top left of the header image, or the Profile tab, then "Delete account". See our account deletion page for details.

The app will not load.

The app needs an internet connection to sync your checklist. Check your connection and try again. If the problem continues, email info@visionwalks.com with your device model and the app version.
